Distributed Acoustic Sensing
The Eagle DAS interrogator converts any standard single-mode optical fiber into a continuous acoustic sensor array. Using coherent Rayleigh backscattering, it detects and localizes vibrations, sounds, and mechanical events anywhere along the fiber with centimeter-level precision.
A single Eagle DAS unit can monitor up to 50 km of infrastructure — 100 km with optional repeaters — providing continuous, real-time data at acquisition rates up to 400 kHz. The system is fully passive on the fiber side, with no electrical components in the field.
